For this brand, a women's boutique rooted in timeless style and natural inspiration, I created a brand identity that celebrates the origin of it's name. The hand-drawn indigofera leaf, the natural source of indigo dye, connects the boutique's modern curation with a centuries-old craft. This thoughtful, organic mark reflects Indigo & Co.'s commitment to quality, tradition, and effortless beauty.
The refreshed identity for Indigo & Co. was designed at a business crossroads. The owner, Carla, had just signed a lease and was ready to make the move to her own boutique space. She wanted her brand to embody timeless style, beauty, and the sophistication of a well-curated boutique experience. We were inspired by natural textures and the heritage behind traditional indigo dyeing, so I designed the brand to blend organic, refined details to create something that feels elevated and approachable. At the heart of the identity is a hand-drawn indigofera leaf — a thoughtful nod to the plant historically used to create indigo dye — connecting the boutique’s modern curation to a sense of craftsmanship, artistry, and tradition.
Beyond the primary logo, the brand system was thoughtfully expanded to include secondary marks, custom typography pairings, packaging elements, and a versatile color palette designed to translate seamlessly across shopping bags, tissue paper, apparel tags, social media, and in-store applications. Every element was created to feel cohesive and intentional, reinforcing Indigo & Co.’s focus on quality, natural beauty, and timeless fashion without feeling overly trendy.
